How can I change the domain my hosting account is associated with?

We are not able to 'switch' the domain your hosting account is associated with as this can cause DNS related problems. If you need to change the domain your hosting account is associated with, please follow the procedure below:

1. Remove any add-on or parked domain setup (if any) for the 'new' domain within your existing hosting account.

2. Purchase a new hosting account for your intended domain via the Web Hosting menu on our website.

3. Upload your website and create your required email addresses.

4. Email support@mhost.com.au requesting cancellation of services on the old domain name (please quote your login details for authentication purposes).

If you have purchased your hosting on the old domain name less than 90 days ago, the remaining months on your old package can be added onto your new hosting account. Please note this in your email when requesting cancellation.

Note: The original domain can then be set up as a parked domain within your new hosting account if you wish. See FAQ article ' How do I setup addon and parked domains on my hosting service?' for more information.
